PANTOTHENIC
ACID-(vitamin B5)
DESCRIPTION: This
water-soluble vitamin cannot be stored in the body and needs to be
replenished every day. Pantothenic acid can be found in both plant
and animal sources, which is why it was named after the Greek word
"pantos", which means "everywhere." Vitamin B5 is destroyed by
heat. Produced in the body by the benefical flora we already have
in our intestines.
